Welcome to Gobbl. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Gobbl mobile application ("App," "Service"). By creating an account or using Gobbl, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Gobbl. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You may not impersonate another person or create an account for anyone other than yourself.
Gobbl lets you log meals, tag the location where you ate, add photos, and share your food activity with friends within the app, including through posts, comments, likes, and a ranked "tier list" of places you've logged. Gobbl also offers optional diet and health features, described in Section 7.
You retain ownership of any content you post to Gobbl, including photos, captions, comments, and meal logs ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant Gobbl a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display, and distribute that content within the App as necessary to operate the Service (for example, showing your posts to friends who follow you).
You are solely responsible for your User Content. You agree not to post content that is illegal, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or that infringes on someone else's rights.
Gobbl provides tools to report content or users you believe violate these Terms, and to block other users. We may review reports and, at our discretion, remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. We may also use automated screening to flag potentially inappropriate content before or after it's posted.
Gobbl uses location data (via Google Places) to let you tag where you ate and to show nearby places when logging a meal. See our Privacy Policy for details on how location data is used and stored.
Informational use only. The diet and health features in Gobbl, including goals, calorie and macro targets, weekly insights, and any information imported from Google Fit or Health Connect, are provided for general informational purposes only. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and using them does not create a doctor-patient or dietitian-client relationship.
Consult a professional. Gobbl is not a substitute for a doctor, registered dietitian, or other qualified health professional. Talk to one before starting any restrictive diet, changing your eating or exercise habits in a significant way, or acting on any target or insight shown in the App. This matters most if you have a medical condition, are pregnant or nursing, have a history of disordered eating, or take medication. Never ignore or delay professional advice because of something you saw in Gobbl. If you think you have a medical emergency, contact local emergency services.
Estimates are approximate. Food identification, calorie and nutrient figures, and targets are generated from the information you enter, automated analysis of photos, and general reference data. They may be inaccurate or incomplete. We do not guarantee their accuracy, and you should not rely on them for medical decisions.
Your choices and responsibility. Goals and targets are selected or adjusted by you. You are responsible for deciding whether any diet, target, or change is appropriate for you, and you use these features at your own risk.
Optional health integrations. Connecting Google Fit or Health Connect is optional. You can disconnect at any time in your device or platform settings. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms.
Sharing diets. If you share a diet through the App, it is User Content under these Terms. Do not present a shared diet as medical advice, and do not follow a diet shared by another user without first considering whether it is right for you.
No guarantee of results. We make no promise that using these features will help you reach any health, weight, fitness, or nutrition outcome. Section 12 also applies to your use of these features.
You may delete your account at any time from within the App. Deleting your account permanently removes your posts, meals, photos, comments, likes, votes, friend connections, diet and health preference data, and account data from our systems. This action cannot be undone. If you can't access the App, you can request deletion from our account deletion page.

We may suspend or terminate your access to Gobbl at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms.
Gobbl is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We use Anthropic's Claude AI to automatically identify food, cuisine, and emoji from photos you log, and we do not guarantee the accuracy of this AI-generated identification, location data, or any other automated feature within the App.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gobbl and its developer are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including any injury, loss, or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the diet and health features.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
